Fiduciary, Flat-Fee Only Wealth Management Services for Latino Business Owners.

What does Fiduciary mean?

We believe in placing our clients’ best interests first. Therefore, we are proud to commit to the following five fiduciary principles:

  • We will always put your best interests first.

  • We will act with prudence; that is, with the skill, care, diligence, and good judgment of a professional.

  • We will not mislead you, and we will provide conspicuous, full and fair disclosure of all important facts.

  • We will avoid conflicts of interest.

  • We will fully disclose and fairly manage, in your favor, any unavoidable conflicts.

In other words, we will treat you with the honesty and integrity that you would expect from someone with whom you are entrusting your life savings.

Please click here to print an unsigned, unbranded copy of the fiduciary oath (from The Committee for the Fiduciary Standard) that you can take to any other advisors you are interviewing. When you become a client of Sophronia, you’ll get your own copy of the Fiduciary Oath hand-signed by our President, Miguel Gomez.

What is flat fee-only?

As flat fee-only financial advisors, we charge a simple, fixed fee for our services. We don’t earn commissions from selling financial products or use assets-under-management (AUM) fees, which vary based on the size of your portfolio.

While no fee structure is completely free of conflicts of interest, we believe our approach is more transparent and predictable. Depending on your portfolio size, it may also be more cost-effective than AUM fees.

Another benefit of being flat fee-only advisors is that our advice is accessible to those with a high income but no investable assets, who are often turned down by traditional AUM advisors.

Our fee starts at $16,000 per year.

The Power and Significance of

Our Name

“Sophronia” comes from an ancient Greek word meaning wise, prudent, and self-controlled. These qualities are exactly what we aim to bring to our relationship with you.

Wise: Think of us as your go-to experts for all things financial. We’ve spent years learning and understanding the ins and outs of the financial world, so you don’t have to. Our goal is to share this wisdom with you, helping you make smart financial decisions that fit your life, both today and for the years to come.

Prudent: We believe in being careful and sensible with your money. As a fiduciary firm, we’re legally obligated to act in your best interest. This means our advice is all about what’s best for you, not what’s going to earn us a commission. Our flat fee-only model keeps things simple and transparent, so you know exactly what you’re paying for and why.

Self-Control: Managing money wisely often means staying calm and steady, even when markets are unpredictable. We’re here to help you stick to your long-term goals, offering support and guidance through the ups and downs. With us, you’ll have a partner who helps you stay focused and disciplined.

In choosing the name Sophronia Wealth Advisors, we wanted to reflect these core values. Our name is a promise to you that we will always strive to be wise, prudent, and disciplined in helping you create a plan that works for you and bringing it to reality.
